Covenant Vs. STAB for LIS Field Hockey Championship this Friday

It is as it is supposed to be. Covenant will play at STAB Friday afternoon for the LIS Field Hockey championship. STAB took care of their opponent, St. Margaret's, in routine fashion. They blasted the goal 6 times while giving up none. Covenant, on the other hand, had to a bit more work. You almost hate to see a match decided by strokes even though the
implication is that it was a great game, well-played by both teams.
There is so much pressure put on one shot or save.  TCS had lost to
Steward
twice during the regular season but rose to the occasion in yesterday's
matchup for a well-deserved win.  TCS played some of their best field
hockey of the season but the goals would not come. After 2 OT periods
neither team had scored.  They went into strokes and two of the
4 TCS strokers that went scored beautiful goals, but it was TCS's goal
keeper
Mirela Briedes-Ruiz who saved the day and shut out the other team's
strokers. TCS won the stroke off 2 nil as well as the match.
