Goochland High School is Striking Out Cancer

The Goochland Softball and Baseball teams are participating in "Strikeout Cancer" during the month of May. All teams are raising money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Last night the JV Baseball and Varsity softball took on Monticello and the crowd was dressed in Pink, along with the players. The games and fan support for the teams and foundation was amazing. Goochland's Varsity Softball won 9 to 8 over Monticello in 9 innings and the Goochland JV Baseball won 16 to 10 over Monticello. On Friday, May 13, the Goochland Varsity Baseball and JV Softball teams will continue the support for "Strikeout Cancer" to raise money for breast cancer research. Please come out and support the teams as they take on Louisa, as well as supporting the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Goochland has shirts and hats for purchase and all proceeds go the the breast cancer foundation.
