Hollymead Family Triathlon photos

On July 10th, the Hollymead swim team held a Kids / Family triathlon.  The goal of this community event was to provide families with a fun fitness activity while at the same time raising money for some amazing local charities.  The slogan for this event is 3 Sports for 3 Charities.    All of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Carson Raymond Foundation, The Ben Hair Just Swim for Life Program and the Sydney Aichs Scholarship Fund.  These memorial charities are named in honor of three young athletes in the Charlottesville area who exemplified integrity and sportsmanship in their sports.  These are the same qualities that Hollymead Swim Team strives to instill in its swimmers.

This year's event raised a great deal of money for the 3 charities they represent and by all means was a great success.
