Little League Majors start Double Elimination at Central July 9

Virginia District 14's 11/12 All Star teams start their double elimination at Central Little League's field at Pen Park. Culpeper faces McIntire at 11:00 and Louisa faces Monticello at 1:30. The winners will face each other at 1 pm on Sunday and the teams that lose on Saturday will play at 3:30. The winner of Ditrict 14 will go to Leesburg on the 21st to play in the Virginia State Championship. In 2009 McIntire lost to Chantilly in the championship game and in 2011 McIntire came in 4th in at state. Culpeper Little League and Louisa Little League both came through pool play undefeated.
