Take the Valley Honda roadtrip on 10/20 & support the UVA Breast Cancer Center

This week’s Valley Honda
Road trip is a little more special than most of our road trips. This
Thursday after work, pack your tailgate and your checkbook and drive
over to Fluvanna County High School and the “DIG PINK” Volleyball Match.
Fluvanna High School and Monticello High School’s JV and varsity
volleyball teams are playing their regular Jefferson District match and a
portion of the $5 admission will be donated in addition to all funds
raised. Fluvanna’s volleyball teams are raising money for the UVA Breast
Cancer Center. Fluvanna’s varsity defeated MHS earlier this season 3-0.
The JV teams play at 6 pm, and the Varsity match to follow. Fluvanna
varsity is 10-3, 4-3 in district, MHS is 12-5, 3-4 in district. You can
also sponsor the “digs” by agreeing to pay a certain amount per Fluvanna
“dig” or Monticello “dig”. Both teams are averaging at least 34-40 per
game.They will be recognizing breast cancer survivors and those women
currently fighting this disease. Last year’s event at Monticello raised
over $1000. Please support these teams in their community service to
bring attention to, raise money for and recognize the families that have
