WAHS golf wins match at Meadowcreek, CHS JV wins

Western
Albemarle continues show why they are the odds on favorites to win the
Jefferson District and make a lot of noise in state this year. They won
their most recent match this past Thursday at Meadowcreek against
Fluvanna and host Charlottesville High School. WAHS shot a 155 with
senior Brett Engle winning low medalist with a 36. CHS placed 2nd and
freshman Phillip Hoffman shot a 36. CHS won the JV match with a team
score of 142 followed by WAHS at 145. Low medalist for the JV was Buford
Middle School 8th grader Banks Northington with a 41.
