Western Albemarle softball wins at Albemarle

WAHS Varsity Softball completed the series with Albemarle last evening with
a 12-3 win. The game was scoreless until the 3rd inning when Emmy Kahn doubled off the right field fence to drive in the first run for Western.
Pitcher Molly Dunsmore only gave up 2 hits in 7 innings.
The Warriors were led by LaShaunda Sims who went 3 for 4 at the plate with
4 RBI’s . Kaitlyn Sukovich had 3 RBI’s and Emmy Kahn had 2 RBI’s .
They were to play at Fluvanna on Friday evening.
