If you were going to keep your ticket stub as evidence that you were at the last game in the Shoebox you will have to come back Saturday and get that one. However Fluvanna's greatest win in the Shoebox may occurred in the next to last
game ever at the facility. YaYa Anderson took Fluvanna's last shot with
14 seconds to give them a 1 point lead and the final score 47-46. After a CHS timeout the Black

CHS was able to pull it together just in time, and won the JD championship for the second year in a row. The ran through the tournament with a certain amount of ease. However, the team that has come together over the last two weeks now has to pay the bill for not coming together sooner. It was expected that CHS would be in the finals of the JD prior to the start of the season. Unfortunately for CHS they were playing for a chance to keep playing, not for positioning. As a result the Black Knights (14-7) will be burning up the blacktop tonight and hopefully for them, a few more weeks.

High School coach Dee Mitchelson had seen this movie before and she
really didn’t like it. WAHS, Monticello last week, and several other
