Our Mission
To create a positive learning experience in a safe environment for girls 16 and under to better their basketball skills to achieve future athletic goals in the sport
Goals and Plans
The Greene Express is a year round commitment by both players and their families. We will take part in various tournaments, clinics and leagues throughout the year to better prepare the girls for higher levels of basketball at the middle and high school level.

We are located in Greene County Va.(about 20 minutes north of Charlottesville)
We play our home tournaments and practice at the William Monroe Schools located at 254 Monroe Dr Standardsville, Va. 22973.
What We Offer
Weekly practice and team scrimmages.
7-12 tournament competitions from local facility to Richmond to the Valley.
Professional training clinic offered in addition to weekly practices.
-Clinic focus is on fundamentals of the game.
Exposure to various types of coaching techniques and strategies.
Exposure to various levels of competition.
Develop skills and overcome weaknesses in a teaching environment.
Actively take part in growing the program through personal commitment.
Scholarships:
The Greene Express Basketball Association offers its players scholarship awards to attend school camps and basketball camps /clinics.
Eligibility is based on consistent attendance to all team functions and events.
Over the past 2 years the Greene Express has offered over $9000.00 in sponsorship awards to it's players, equipment contributions to the school program and support of local youth programs.
