UVA ticket sales down?

No kidding football ticket sales are down. Folks just don't have the money right now for this kind of thing. I can afford the tickets for me and the kids but what I can't afford is the four overpriced hot dogs, sodas, and all the other stuff.

UVa Football will see an uptick in ticket sales if, and it's a HUGE "IF," they come out of the gates with passion and success. Until they do this, why buy the tickets?
 
Also, here's another idea: Why buy season tickets when you can buy tickets from the dudes selling them on the corners outside of Scott Stadium. Just wait for the game to start, and these guys have fire-sales on tickets. I purchased tickets to many games last year that cost me $10 per pop.

270 for decent seats is way too much, especially if it is another lame duck season. no thanks. I'll stay home and watch ESPN.
