Charlottesville Shooting Stars

Unlike
middle school or high school cheerleading, an All-Star cheerleading
team does not cheer for an individual sport but instead practices a
created a 2 min and 30 second routine of skills to be judged at
competitions nationwide under the guidelines and regulations of the
USASF. The world of competitive cheerleading has grown over the years
and is considered a time consuming and challenging sport.
The
Charlottesville Shooting Stars is an All-Star cheerleading team
established in 2005. We currently have a Level 1 and Level 2 Team. Each
fall we hold an evaluation period in which athletes learn all about the
sport and then show us their skills. Based on what they learned and
their team work skills they are placed on the appropriate level team for
their abilities. We currently practice Mondays and Thursdays from
6:30-8:30 at the Boar’s Head Sports Club located on Route 250 West In
Charlottesville, VA.
Charlottesville Shooting Stars is a non-profit training program for competitive cheerleading. All
of your money goes to competition fees, gym rental, administration
costs and all of the coaches are volunteer! Even tho we are volunteers
we have over 25 years combined of coaching experience. Members of our
staff are also First Aid/CPR certified, ACCAA Safety Certified, members
of USASF and USASF Credentialed, as well as members of the NFHS and
VLHS.
 From
stunting and jumps to tumbling and dance we work to elevate the
abilities of our team and push them to their highest potential. "We
believe that anyone who wants to do it, CAN!" We have had cheerleaders
participate in the Pro Bowl in Hawaii, the Capital One Bowl in Orlando,
and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City.
