April 6, 2010   Congratulations to Kathy Thomas, the Volvo of Charlottesville "Volunteer of the Month" for April. She is the first recipient of the Papa John's Team of the Week award. Kathy will receive ten free pizzas for the local youth sports organization of her choice! Thanks for giving all of your time to youth sports Kathy! UPDATE: Kathy donated her pizzas to the Lane Babe Ruth League team sponsored by Chaps. They were even nice enough to split it with the opposing team.

To get in on the action and get your team their own Papa John's Team of the Week pizza party please send an email to pizza@youthsportsnow.com.  Anyone with a valid email can enter the contest and nominate any local youth sports team in our coverage area. Players and coaches can nominate their own team, parents can nominate their kid's teams and community members can nominate their favorite team to show their support.

Please include this information in the email. Incomplete emails entries will not be considered as a winner.
