AHS wins at CHS with huge 3rd period surge

AHS used a 3rd quarter for the ages to defeat CHS Tuesday night 15-12. After trailing 9-4 at the half, the Patriots went on an 11-3 run to defeat the Black Knights. Matt Crist led AHS with 3 goals, 5 other Patriots had 2 goals each. For CHS Willis Bocock had 3 goals to lead their scoring. In the second half AHS used an absolutely stifling defense to keep the CHS offense from having any opportunities to stem the red tide that was overwhelming CHS on the other end of the field. AHS hosts Fluvanna and CHS hosts Eastern View Friday night. As of now AHS (3-0) leads the West Central district with victories over CHS, MHS and a suspension riddled WAHS.
